meredith vieira show fab fixes

Hope everyone had a GREAT weekend! I’ve been dying to share this great news with you ever since we wrapped! Today is the day my most recent Meredith Vieira Show segment airs on NBC at 2pm local time!  Make sure to record it if you can’t tune in! Remember the last one I did? Well this one’s even better! I took my DIY game to the next level with 3 easy and (quite honestly) shocking DIY fixes that can literally TRANSFORM things you thought you had to toss! You know…things like your scuffed up shoes, stained button-down, and old pair of jeans.

I’m pretty proud of these fashion hacks, because I know you’ll all be able to do them at home without a problem! I’m so grateful to my models (Zainne, Sam, and Remy) for ROCKING them on camera with such style + sass! Check out the projects below and let me know which one’s are your faves:

3. Let shoes dry for 10 minutes

4. Polish with top coat for glossy finish

5. Let dry for another 10 minutes or use blowdryer to expedite

6. Remove tape and voila!

  2. Layout your desired design using broken jewelry or other embellishments
  3. Take a photo of the design and proceed gluing in place.

dip dyed jeans

Fashion Fix: Dip Dyed Jeans

Materials: Old pair of Jeans, Bleach, Water, Bucket, gloves, (protective glasses optional)

  1. Mix 1 part water for 1 part bleach in a bucket until 1/3 full
  2. Dip ¾ jeans into bucket and let it sit for approx. 30 minutes (each denim reacts differently so keep an eye on it every 10 minutes or so and remove when material becomes white)
  3. Remove jeans and rinse the bleach out several times
  4. Air dry and wear once completed!

BIG round of digital applause to my gorgeous models: Zainne, Sam, and Remy!
