With the book officially released and the clothing line launch quickly approaching- I’ve been making my rounds, showing off my tips and tricks to all of my favorite media sources (TV shows, websites, magazines- the list goes on and on!)
Today I was featured on Good Day LA to promote my book and show you how to create 3 brand new outfits, using what’s around you — and spending no more than $100!
Continue on for more info on each of the outfits discussed…

Starting off with my look, I kept it simple with my NEW geometric print wrap dress from the Penny Chic collection, coming in the end of September!!– can this count as my DIY? — and paired it with these statement earrings from Stella & Dot. I finished off the look with a pair of old red patent pumps as a pop of color.

Walmart Penny Chic Wrap Dress ($20), Stella & Dot Pop Geo Chandeliers ($49), Red Pumps

Lily (you may recognize her as the “sporty girl” from the Penny Chic style guide), is showing off a great back to school look. Using my grandpa’s sweater, we paired it with lace cut off shorts- made from last year’s tattered jeans! To update the look from an everyday basic outfit, we paired it with a statement necklace and new sneakers!
Shop the Look: Vintage Sweater, DIY Lace Cutoff Shorts, Jewelmint In The Clear Necklace ($29.99), Converse Chuck Taylor High Tops ($50)

Claudia was modeling the next vintage inspired look. With my grandpa’s hat, my brother’s cardigan, and my mom’s backpack from the 90s- we achieved an effortless (and stylish) look, that’s easy to throw on before heading out to classes. To get an edgy statement necklace, without spending big $$$, DIY it with fishing wire and safety pins!
Shop the Look: Brother’s Cardigan, StyleMint Classic Crew Shirt ($14.99), Target Low Rise Skinny Denim ($29.99) *seen on Good Day LA, Kmart Lace Combat Boot ($24.99) *seen on Good Day LA, Mom’s 90s Backpack, Vintage Hat from grandpa, DIY Safety Pin Necklace, Brandy Melville Vodi Shorts ($15.00) *featured on the blog

For the young professional, Annette (from A. Vintage Splendor) is modeling this work appropriate (yet completely chic) look. We paired a polka dot blouse with a pleather skinny pant, and threw on my mom’s 80s power suit blazer for a pop of color. Accessorizing with a strappy pair of black heels and this DIY embellished clutch, this outfit is easy to transition from daytime at work to a night out.
Shop the Look: Target Popover Blouse ($24.99), Mom’s Power Suit Blazer, H&M Super Skinny Super Low Jeans ($34.99), Signature ShoeDazzle Heels, DIY Embellished Clutch
